Deepening our practice of Yin Yoga through Mindfulness, Inquiry and Compassion with Davina

In this workshop our practice of Yin Yoga will be interwoven with lessons from The Buddha Dharma that offer techniques for living a truly balanced life; one that is fully awake, aware and able to respond skilfully. We will explore together the Four Noble Truths and touch into the Four Foundations of Mindfulness using our Yin Yoga practice as a container for this exploration. The workshop is aimed at encouraging a yielding in the body, a softening, a letting go, which in turn will facilitate a deeper self inquiry and increase our ability to lean into compassion, not only towards ourselves but those around us also.

Everyone is welcome, no previous knowledge of Yoga or Buddhism is required. The invitation is to come with an inquisitive mind and let's see together, what arises."

Davina has been teaching Yoga for nearly twenty Years. Trained in Hatha Yoga, Pre and Post Natal Yoga, Hot Yoga and Insight Meditation, Davina has gained 800+hrs of teaching qualifications. Davina completed her level 1 Yin Yoga and Insight Meditation training with Sarah Powers back in 2006 and more recently completing levels 2 & 3. Davina is also currently reading an Masters degree is Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy at Karuna Institute in Devon.
